Ok screw the connecting with facebook. The app I had on the site I wasn’t pleased with. And it gave you a random username. I didn’t like that. Anyway you can probably still connect with facebook but you can also connect with the following: Twitter, Google, OpenID, LiveJournal, LiveID(This includes xboxlive.)
I am much more pleased with this one. So just gotta click on the login link and choose. Or if you feel like having and extra account not linked to anything just register.
Also you can go to your Profile Panel (which is probably called Site Admin at the moment) and edit your profile there. I will make it look pretty I promise. Again you can edit your profile and make sure you have the email set to your gravatar email. If you have a Gravatar account.
This should be more flexible on how you want your login to appear. So if you choose your login to be a Nickname of yours it SHOULD stay on your nickname instead of your real name. This was an annoyance I had with the other Facebook Connect app. I did not like my real name plastered all over the site. I do like a little anonymity.
If you have already registered you can login with your normal login and then in your profile link you can connect your account with your Google, Facebook, LiveID, Livejournal, or Twitter account. It will then save your login for the future visits.
