So there’s been a media scare about circle lenses the past two weeks, started with this article really and then the NYT decided to do an article on it. Then it blew up into tv format from ABC and CBS. I’m sure there’s more, then it pushed to the Australian newspaper. So the new is spreading about the circle lenses. However it’s spreading in the form of bad news. Every article and news reports about circle lenses speaks of the danger in using them and tries to prove that no good will come out of it. The main thing about it was cause they’re manufactured in Asia so the people HERE (in the US) that are reporting the news are being biased. Another thing that the news seems to stressed about these circle lens is that they are claiming that LADY GAGA is the one that started this trend from her Bad Romance video. This shows how the reporters lack the ability to research the subject. The Circle Lens started way before the video was created and it was popular in the Asian countries before people found out about them worldwide. I have so much more to say but it’s enough to just wonder what’s going on with the world these days. People this trend is just a fad, a fad that will eventually fade away like many other fads before. Although I do have to say that since they started reporting this I’m sure that the reporters are giving these shops more business than ever before letting the world know about circle lens.
