Decimated Eden

I’m trying to hold off making new pages until I get my replacements pen nibs for my graphire pen tablet. I can see that the nib is a bit worn down. So the next pages won’t be up til I get them. I went on a frenzied rampage looking for replacement nibs because I don’t want to buy another tablet unless it’s a Cintiq or a big Intuos. So I searched and searched and took me a while to navigate through wacom site to actually find nibs that are good replacements for my pen.

The Graphire seems to be discontinued or rather has been renamed the Bamboo. I’m not too fond of the Bamboo and I have no idea why. I look at it and I just can’t get myself to yearn for it as I did for my Graphire. It’s kinda frustrating but at least I know they still have replacement nibs. And if those nibs don’t work well I guess I blew 5 bucks for them. That could’ve been a months worth of Ramen Noodles man.

So anyway to any of the artist out there that hasn’t let go of their Graphire tablets and wants to find replacement nibs for them I’ll post the link to them when I can. It’s 12 in the morning and I don’t want to search Wacom’s site again.

So I made a facebook fan page. The badge is over there yonder at the right sidebar if anyone likes to join it. Also this post is testing out if this wordpress addon will post to that fan page. I guess alot of testing to get it work out right. Also I am getting more used to Manga Studio. It’s almost as if it’s Comicworks pumped on steroids. I suppose I can install Comicworks again and try it out again. Well I mean hey I’ve paid for Manga Studio I might as well get the most of the program if I’m going to upgrade it.

The CCA has been a great way to make people aware of the human trafficking going on in the world. I am happy to say that with the support 80+ other comic creators and for Lora Innes, who made this all happen, CCA has raised over $9000 within the past two weeks. Which is going to be split between the two organizations, Love146 and Gracehaven.

Kudos to those that donated and we do hope that you enjoy your wallpaper that you received.
And many thanks goes to Lora who had brought this to many of the comic creators attention.

Well it’s almost complete I need to figure out how to do the custom menubar and then fix the content box and it’ll be completed. Hopefully. It is kind of big I guess, but hope you guys like it.

Edit: Got the menu boxes set up now to add the links to is to the proper place. Some more testing to go on.

I finished my layout design in Photoshop. However I have to implement it to this current site. First I’m going to work it for Drunk Duck and Smackjeeves and then I’ll slowly set it up here for this site. So to warn you all ahead of time there might be some broken images and such going on while I am getting this fixed up, but it will usually be around like 12am in the morning while most of you are asleep. If you are joining me from another country outside the US from Europe or Asia well then, you’ll be experiencing some site breakage. The new layout has some kind of an elegant look to it I think, but I can’t explain it so much it’s something you have to see and I guess I would be sticking with the new layout for a while now until I get annoyed with it. And that’s when I will be making another new layout.

Also I have 13 pages sketched out and inked and ready to be transfered for toning. Holy crap. I will get you guys a new page up soon.
